How to build a sustainable and innovative business in the food and beverage industry in Ukraine?

The training material is devoted to the analysis of sustainable digitalization of hospitality from the perspective of the food and beverage industry in the world and in Ukraine.

The guide provides an overview of sustainable development and hospitality goals, the relationship between hospitality and digitalization, and analyzes the dual transition as the integration of digital innovation with environmental sustainability.

Particular attention is paid to the importance of optimizing food production and consumption in the food and beverage industry, the availability of natural resources for future generations, and specific aspects of social awareness and public health from the perspective of sustainable digitalization of hospitality.

A separate subject of analysis was a review of innovations and digitalization in the food and beverage industry, in particular 3D food printing technologies, waste reduction technologies, as well as sustainable supply chains and food and beverage logistics thanks to the Internet of Things.

Aspects for improving the implementation of sustainable digitalization of hospitality in the food and beverage industry of Ukraine were also considered and proposed. The methodology and tools for implementing sustainable digitalization of hospitality in the food and beverage industry in the curricula of vocational and technical institutions were analyzed, and a number of recommendations were provided to students on how to become a sustainable and innovative professional in the food and beverage industry.
